Christian Movie Recommendations

Have you noticed that Jesus nearly always used stories when he taught? Stories have a unique way of forming us spiritually. Not only do they shape our minds, but they touch our hearts and emotions as well.

Movies can be modern day spiritual parables. Because of this, it’s important that we are careful regarding what we watch. Every story has an underlying message (as do songs, books, and other forms of media) that will affect us either positive or negatively. This is more true than we realize!

If you get snowed in this winter, consider taking in a Christian film that could strengthen you as a disciple of Jesus. In the list below, you'll find a few titles that I’ve enjoyed in the past that should be available wherever you stream movies.

Some of these films may not be suitable for children so please follow the viewer age recommendations. Also, take in a few of Jesus parables, and let His beautiful mind and heart touch yours!

Blessings,
Pastor Tim
